„CARPATHIAN YOUTH FOR ECO SMART EDUCATION”

State University of Applied Sciences in Jaroslaw is implementing the PLUA.01.03-IP.01-0017/23 project co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine Program 2021-2027.

The aim of the project is to implement a number of investments in the field of biodiversity conservation and promotional and educational activities aimed at children, youth and students. The project will create educational centers on both the Polish and Ukrainian sides.

Thanks to the funds obtained, our University will feature, among others:

1. Internal ecological path/interactive educational center – cinema room, three exhibition rooms and an apitherapy room. 
2. Equipment and multimedia equipment about the life of bees.

A flower meadow, a pocket forest and a biocenotic garden will also be created. Additionally, interactive information points, multimedia applications, VR and models of insects imitating hives will be created.

The project planned to implement the following tasks:

Task 1. Communication and dissemination activities.
Task 2. Building biodiverse educational paths.
Task 3. Creating new eco-strategies, educational programs and methods of teaching environmental sciences in schools.
Task 4. Cross-border educational activities for children from Ukraine and Poland.

Project value:  EUR 1,816,847.22

Funding:  EUR 1,632,618.93
